Very happy with the restoration of our chimney! He’s an awesome mason and honest. The crew rebuilt our front retaining wall and added drainage to it. They had to look several places before finding similar blocks, as the originals were placed over 40 years ago. Then took the time to artistically arrange them so it’s not noticeable at all. Definitely would use again.

Had JM restoration help me eliminate a glass block window and fill in with concrete block, although older blocks were slightly bigger he made it blend in perfectly, I would highly recommended JM restoration for any masonry services. as they are very detail oriented!

Esau and crew drove out to the burbs and did a fantastic job at a reasonable price. Not only did they do high quality work but they also made sure everything was cleaned up on a daily basis. Esau and his crew made a challenging job look absolutely wonderful. They rebuilt my chimney, ended up replacing some rotted boards and flashing and reroofing part of the roof, the point and tuck work around the house blends in perfectly. I loved them so much I asked them back for another job sealing some boards that had nothing to do with the masonry.

Esau and his assistant did an excellent job using our existing brick to form a decorative ledge around our new picture window. He also came back later at my request to fill in anchor holes in the mortar where shutters had been previously attached.

Esau and the crew performed a great rebuild of the chimney on my 111 year old duplex They carefully built a very high scaffold to safely work at dizzying height. Straightened out the leaning and cracked bricks. Not to mention with the difficult weather conditions this year. Very nice clean up afterwards. Highly recommend JM Restoration.

After having water enter my home, I had JM Restoration grind out the mortar, tuck point, and pour a new cap on my chimney. They were clean and fast. I’m very satisfied with their workmanship. I will recommend JM Restoration to anyone that needs brick or stone work done on their building.

The JM crew came in and banged out a great, thorough tuckpoint and brickwork job. They covered extensive areas that had many poor joints, and also did a lot of spot repairs on isolated areas. They also bricked over a defunct milkbox, and made the new area match the existing brickwork. They knocked the job out in two days, and left the jobsite clean and tidy. I was very pleased with the results.

We engaged Esau and his company to do a very complex job involving the replacement of a brick face on our home. Esau went out of his way to find a match for the older brick on our house as the original material was no longer available. The resulting work done to perfection. Esau did an amazing job on our project. His communication was excellent both during the process of getting the quote as well as during scheduling. I actually will say I do not think I have ever had a contractor who communicates this well and it is so appreciated. We had a wall in our basement that was essentially starting to crumble from years of water exposure. We had some remediation efforts done by a basement company to include adding a sump pump. However, the concrete block was so worn down that it was unsightly and water would seep through the pores of the bricks when it would rain heavily. Esau discussed two options with us and explained the pros and cons of each. His finished product looks amazing. He kept everything clean and the work was completed in the amount of time he quoted.
